About 1 OAK HOMES

Based in Dallas, TX, 1 OAK HOMES works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 5, the business has been operating for 1 year. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include floating hardwood floors, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, herringbone pattern floors and stair tread and riser installation. 1 OAK HOMES is also listed for carpet installation and countertop installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Dallas, homeowners in Irving, Addison and Carrollton can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send 1 OAK HOMES a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
