A Plus Flooring

About A Plus Flooring

A Plus Flooring is a hardwood floor installer serving Des Moines, IA. The business has been operating for 26 years with a team of 3. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include wide-plank flooring, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, old carpet removal before install, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and herringbone pattern floors. A Plus Flooring is also listed for carpet installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Des Moines and nearby areas such as West Des Moines, Pleasant Hill and Norwalk can request a quote. To get started, send A Plus Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
