Adgate Flooring

About Adgate Flooring

Based in Metropolis, IL, Adgate Flooring works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 15 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Metropolis include wide-plank flooring, stair tread and riser installation, subfloor leveling, engineered hardwood over concrete and floating hardwood floors. Adgate Flooring is also listed for cabinet installation, carpet installation, countertop installation and dishwasher installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card, PayPal, Square cash app and Venmo. Request a quote from Adgate Flooring on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
