Alameda Construction

About Alameda Construction

Based in Southampton, PA, Alameda Construction works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 4 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include transition strips and thresholds, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, floating hardwood floors and wide-plank flooring. Alameda Construction is also listed for handyman and interior painting.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Southampton, homeowners in Richboro, Feasterville Trevose and Warminster can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Square cash app, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Alameda Construction a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
