About Albert's Remodeling LLC

Based in Neptune, NJ, Albert's Remodeling LLC works as a hardwood floor refinisher. A team of 5, the business has been operating for 28 years. Refinishing restores worn hardwood by sanding away the old finish and surface damage, then applying stain if desired and several coats of protective finish. The result is a floor that looks new without replacing boards, since solid hardwood can usually be sanded multiple times over its life.

Common requests for hardwood floor refinishing include water-based polyurethane finish, gap filling between boards, refinishing floors found under old carpet, buffing out surface scratches and oil-based polyurethane finish. Albert's Remodeling LLC is also listed for carpet installation, exterior painting, finish carpentry and floor cleaning.

Dark pet stains, boards that feel rough underfoot, and a dull finish that cleaning no longer brightens suggest a sand or recoat. Share the square footage of each room, photos of the worn areas, and whether stairs or landings are included in the project. Cost depends on square footage, floor condition, whether stain is applied, the number of finish coats, and any board repairs or stairs.
