Albertos Flooring

About Albertos Flooring

Albertos Flooring is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Sylmar, CA. The business has been operating for 26 years with a team of 3. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Sylmar include herringbone pattern floors, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, floating hardwood floors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and old carpet removal before install. Albertos Flooring is also listed for carpet installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
