About Alex

Based in Feeding Hills, MA, Alex works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has a team of 32767. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, subfloor leveling, old carpet removal before install, herringbone pattern floors and solid oak plank installation. Alex is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, handyman and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Feeding Hills and nearby areas such as Agawam, West Springfield and Southwick can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash. Request a quote from Alex on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
