Amazonia Floors

About Amazonia Floors

Based in Cockeysville, MD, Amazonia Floors works as a hardwood flooring contractor. A team of 6, the business has been operating for 17 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Cockeysville include stair tread and riser installation, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, transition strips and thresholds, solid oak plank installation and subfloor leveling. Amazonia Floors is also listed for carpet installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Customers in Cockeysville and nearby areas such as Sparks Glencoe, Lutherville Timonium and Upperco can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, PayPal and Square cash app. To get started, send Amazonia Floors a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
