About American imperial flooring

American imperial flooring provides hardwood floor installation in Downey, CA. The business has been operating for 11 years with a team of 6. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, subfloor leveling, unfinished floors finished on site and old carpet removal before install. American imperial flooring is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, exterior painting and hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Downey, homeowners in Bell Gardens, Norwalk and Paramount can reach out for hardwood floor installation. To get started, send American imperial flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
