Art Des

About Art Des

Based in Manhattan, NY, Art Des works as a handyman. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 7 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Manhattan include loose door hinge repair, hanging shelves and mirrors, baseboard and trim touch-ups, drywall patching and ceiling fan swaps. Art Des is also listed for fitness equipment assembly, window installation and window repair.

Moving in, preparing a home for sale, or getting ready for holiday guests often surfaces loose fixtures, scuffed walls, dripping caulk lines, and doors that stick. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Handyman pricing usually depends on the number of tasks on the list, the time each one takes, and whether materials must be supplied or are already on hand.

Besides Manhattan, homeowners in Long Island City, Sunnyside and Maspeth can reach out for handyman work. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. To get started, send Art Des a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
