Art island

About Art island

Based in Staten Island, NY, Art island works as a handyman. The business has been operating for 4 years. Most handyman calls start with a quick walkthrough of the task list, followed by a check of the tools and materials each item needs. Jobs are then worked in a sensible order, with dust control and cleanup at the end, leaving the homeowner with finished repairs instead of half-done weekend projects.

Common requests for handyman work include weatherstripping doors, replacing light fixtures, loose door hinge repair, hanging shelves and mirrors and ceiling fan swaps. Art island is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

Moving in, preparing a home for sale, or getting ready for holiday guests often surfaces loose fixtures, scuffed walls, dripping caulk lines, and doors that stick. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides Staten Island, homeowners in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Rockaway Park can reach out for handyman work. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash and Zelle. Request a quote from Art island on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
