Artfully Handy

About Artfully Handy

Based in Kings Park, NY, Artfully Handy works as a picture hanging service. It has been in business for 14 years. Gallery walls take planning. Frames are laid out on the floor or traced onto paper templates taped to the wall, spacing is adjusted until the arrangement feels balanced, and then each piece is hung in sequence. The result is an evenly spaced grouping without extra holes from trial and error.

Common requests for picture and art hanging include canvas print hanging, large mirror hanging, art ledge installation, heavy artwork installation and gallery wall layouts. Artfully Handy is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, furniture assembly and handyman.

A heavy mirror or large canvas that feels risky to hang alone, or walls made of plaster or brick, are common reasons to bring in help. Share the number of pieces, the approximate size and weight of each, and photos of the walls where each should go in each room. Gallery layouts that require careful planning, oversized mirrors, stairwell ladders, and specialty hardware like French cleats add to the time and cost.

Besides Kings Park, homeowners in Smithtown, Commack and East Northport can reach out for picture and art hanging. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Venmo and Zelle. Request a quote from Artfully Handy on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
