Artistic Flooring & Design

About Artistic Flooring & Design

Artistic Flooring & Design is a hardwood floor installer serving Selden, NY. The business has been operating for 5 years with a team of 3. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include transition strips and thresholds, subfloor leveling, unfinished floors finished on site, wide-plank flooring and floating hardwood floors. Artistic Flooring & Design is also listed for carpet installation.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Selden, homeowners in Centereach, Farmingville and Coram can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Request a quote from Artistic Flooring & Design on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
