Big Timber

About Big Timber

Big Timber is a handyman serving Austin, TX. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 5 years. Most handyman calls start with a quick walkthrough of the task list, followed by a check of the tools and materials each item needs. Jobs are then worked in a sensible order, with dust control and cleanup at the end, leaving the homeowner with finished repairs instead of half-done weekend projects.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Austin include grab bar installation, baseboard and trim touch-ups, weatherstripping doors, hanging shelves and mirrors and ceiling fan swaps. Big Timber is also listed for cabinet installation, fitness equipment assembly, furniture assembly and TV mounting.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides Austin, homeowners in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Cedar Park can reach out for handyman work. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, PayPal, Square cash app and Venmo. To get started, send Big Timber a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
