Boyd Carpet Service

About Boyd Carpet Service

Boyd Carpet Service is a hardwood floor installer serving Mint Hill, NC. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 54 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include herringbone pattern floors, engineered hardwood over concrete, stair tread and riser installation, solid oak plank installation and transition strips and thresholds.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Mint Hill, homeowners in Indian Trail, Harrisburg and Midland can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday. To get started, send Boyd Carpet Service a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
