Building wisely

About Building wisely

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Building wisely works as a handyman. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 6 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Brooklyn include ceiling fan swaps, furniture assembly, grab bar installation, fixing sticky drawers and drywall patching. Building wisely is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Customers in Brooklyn and nearby areas such as Staten Island, Rockaway Park and Manhattan can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash and Zelle. Request a quote from Building wisely on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
