Cal Floors & Floor Covering Contractor

About Cal Floors & Floor Covering Contractor

Based in Petaluma, CA, Cal Floors & Floor Covering Contractor works as a floor refinishing contractor. The business has been operating for 42 years with a team of 3. Refinishing restores worn hardwood by sanding away the old finish and surface damage, then applying stain if desired and several coats of protective finish. The result is a floor that looks new without replacing boards, since solid hardwood can usually be sanded multiple times over its life.

Common requests for hardwood floor refinishing include water-based polyurethane finish, refinishing floors found under old carpet, oil-based polyurethane finish, gap filling between boards and pet stain board replacement.

Dark pet stains, boards that feel rough underfoot, and a dull finish that cleaning no longer brightens suggest a sand or recoat. Mention pets, when the rooms can be fully emptied, and whether you prefer a water-based or oil-based finish, if known. Cost depends on square footage, floor condition, whether stain is applied, the number of finish coats, and any board repairs or stairs.

Besides Petaluma, homeowners in Cotati, Rohnert Park and Penngrove can reach out for hardwood floor refinishing. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and Zelle. Request a quote from Cal Floors & Floor Covering Contractor on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
