CalStep Flooring

About CalStep Flooring

Based in Clovis, CA, CalStep Flooring works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 1 year. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include solid oak plank installation, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, transition strips and thresholds, engineered hardwood over concrete and floating hardwood floors. CalStep Flooring is also listed for carpet installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Customers in Clovis and nearby areas such as Sanger, Fowler and Reedley can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday, 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. Request a quote from CalStep Flooring on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
