About Carpet &flooring

Carpet &flooring provides hardwood floor installation in Jurupa Valley, CA. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 21 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Jurupa Valley include transition strips and thresholds, unfinished floors finished on site, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, old carpet removal before install and engineered hardwood over concrete. Carpet &flooring is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.
