Carter Flooring

About Carter Flooring

Carter Flooring provides hardwood floor installation in Edmond, OK. The business has been operating for 14 years with a team of 10. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, subfloor leveling, transition strips and thresholds and engineered hardwood over concrete. Carter Flooring is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Customers in Edmond and nearby areas such as Spencer, Bethany and Jones can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card, Google Pay, PayPal and Samsung Pay. To get started, send Carter Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
