About Chris

Based in Alexandria, VA, Chris works as a handyman. The business has been operating for 2 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Alexandria include ceiling fan swaps, small fence board repairs, loose door hinge repair, replacing light fixtures and baseboard and trim touch-ups. Chris is also listed for cabinet installation, dishwasher installation, door repair and fitness equipment assembly.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. Mention whether parts such as light fixtures, shelves, curtain rods, or cabinet hardware are already purchased or will need to be picked up before the visit. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Customers in Alexandria and nearby areas such as Springfield, Arlington and Lorton can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Credit card and Venmo. To get started, send Chris a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
