About Chris tile

Chris tile provides hardwood floor installation in Westwego, LA. The business has been operating for 5 years with a team of 3. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include engineered hardwood over concrete, herringbone pattern floors, unfinished floors finished on site, stair tread and riser installation and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. Chris tile is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Westwego and nearby areas such as Metairie, Kenner and Marrero can request a quote. To get started, send Chris tile a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
