About CM Floors

CM Floors is a hardwood flooring contractor serving York, SC. It has been in business for 8 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include transition strips and thresholds, wide-plank flooring, old carpet removal before install, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and herringbone pattern floors.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides York, homeowners in Clover, Rock Hill and Fort Mill can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash and Square cash app. Request a quote from CM Floors on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
