Cody’s Flooring

About Cody’s Flooring

Based in Pearl City, HI, Cody’s Flooring works as a hardwood flooring contractor. It has been in business for 4 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, floating hardwood floors, herringbone pattern floors, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors and transition strips and thresholds. Cody’s Flooring is also listed for carpet installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Pearl City, homeowners in Mililani, Aiea and Kaneohe can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Cody’s Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
