About Cornell Floors

Cornell Floors is a hardwood floor installer serving Purdon, TX. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 3 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include stair tread and riser installation, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, transition strips and thresholds, wide-plank flooring and herringbone pattern floors. Cornell Floors is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, door repair and furniture assembly.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Purdon and nearby areas such as Corsicana, Barry and Rice can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Venmo. Request a quote from Cornell Floors on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
