About Cortex Construction LLC

Cortex Construction LLC is a hardwood floor installer serving River Rouge, MI. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 3 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in River Rouge include unfinished floors finished on site, engineered hardwood over concrete, floating hardwood floors, subfloor leveling and wide-plank flooring. Cortex Construction LLC is also listed for furniture assembly and handyman.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in River Rouge and nearby areas such as Ecorse, Melvindale and Dearborn can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Square cash app and Zelle. To get started, send Cortex Construction LLC a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
