D&D’s flooring

About D&D’s flooring

Based in Central Square, NY, D&D’s flooring works as a hardwood flooring contractor. It has been in business for 8 years. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include unfinished floors finished on site, old carpet removal before install, floating hardwood floors, transition strips and thresholds and stair tread and riser installation. D&D’s flooring is also listed for furniture assembly, house cleaning and junk removal.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Central Square and nearby areas such as Brewerton, Phoenix and Parish can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
