Dent Floor & Decor

About Dent Floor & Decor

Based in New Albany, IN, Dent Floor & Decor works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 7 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in New Albany include old carpet removal before install, herringbone pattern floors, transition strips and thresholds, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors and floating hardwood floors. Dent Floor & Decor is also listed for carpet installation.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides New Albany, homeowners in Clarksville, Floyds Knobs and Georgetown can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Square cash app, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Dent Floor & Decor a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
