Diaz and Sons Flooring

About Diaz and Sons Flooring

Diaz and Sons Flooring is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Hanover, PA. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 10 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, wide-plank flooring, subfloor leveling, herringbone pattern floors and engineered hardwood over concrete. Diaz and Sons Flooring is also listed for carpet installation.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.
