About Ecuatech

Ecuatech is a home theater repair technician serving East Hampton, NY. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 16 years. A repair visit usually starts with reproducing the problem, checking cables and settings, and swapping components to isolate the fault. Failed parts, like blown speakers or projector lamps, are replaced, and the system is recalibrated so levels and lip sync are correct again.

Common requests for home theater repair include HDMI handshake issues, speaker wire repair, projector lamp replacement, input switching problems and no sound troubleshooting. Ecuatech is also listed for TV mounting.

No sound from certain speakers, a buzzing or humming subwoofer, or a blank screen when switching inputs point to home theater problems. Mention when the problem started, recent changes like new devices or software updates, and whether the problem is constant or intermittent. Hidden wiring faults inside walls, projector repairs, and replacing in-wall or in-ceiling speakers with matching models all increase the total.
