Ferguson Flooring

About Ferguson Flooring

Based in Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Ferguson Flooring works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 2 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Lake Panasoffkee include old carpet removal before install, subfloor leveling, engineered hardwood over concrete, stair tread and riser installation and solid oak plank installation. Ferguson Flooring is also listed for carpet installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Lake Panasoffkee, homeowners in Wildwood, Oxford and Inverness can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday. To get started, send Ferguson Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
