Floor Buddy

About Floor Buddy

Based in Dania, FL, Floor Buddy works as a hardwood floor installer. A team of 8, the business has been operating for 1 year. Homeowners choose between solid hardwood, which can be sanded many times, and engineered boards, which handle basements and concrete slabs better. The installer helps match product to the space, lets the wood acclimate inside the home, and plans layouts that avoid awkward slivers at doorways and hallways.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include subfloor leveling, engineered hardwood over concrete, transition strips and thresholds, unfinished floors finished on site and floating hardwood floors. Floor Buddy is also listed for carpet installation.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Dania, homeowners in Hollywood, Hallandale and Hallandale Beach can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Credit card, Google Pay and Zelle. To get started, send Floor Buddy a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
