Floor Craft

About Floor Craft

Based in El Dorado Hills, CA, Floor Craft works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 32 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include herringbone pattern floors, floating hardwood floors, transition strips and thresholds, stair tread and riser installation and baseboard and shoe molding reinstall.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides El Dorado Hills, homeowners in Folsom, Granite Bay and Shingle Springs can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, PayPal and Venmo. Request a quote from Floor Craft on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
