Floor Hop

About Floor Hop

Floor Hop provides hardwood floor installation in Farmingdale, NY. A team of 50, the business has been operating for 18 years. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Farmingdale include wide-plank flooring, floating hardwood floors, herringbone pattern floors, subfloor leveling and transition strips and thresholds. Floor Hop is also listed for carpet installation, hardwood floor refinishing and junk removal.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Customers in Farmingdale and nearby areas such as Bethpage, Wyandanch and Massapequa Park can request a quote. Posted hours are Monday to Saturday. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and Zelle. To get started, send Floor Hop a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
