About Flooring By Thomas

Flooring By Thomas is a hardwood floor installer serving Longs, SC. The business has been operating for 27 years with a team of 4. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include old carpet removal before install, herringbone pattern floors, solid oak plank installation, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. Flooring By Thomas is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation, hardwood floor refinishing and pressure washing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Longs, homeowners in Little River, North Myrtle Beach and Loris can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Request a quote from Flooring By Thomas on Fixerlane and describe the job you need done.
