Flooring Is Us

About Flooring Is Us

Based in Westlake Village, CA, Flooring Is Us works as a hardwood flooring contractor. The business has been operating for 3 years with a team of 4. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

On their profile, Flooring Is Us lists install type: laminate, luxury vinyl flooring, engineered hardwood and solid wood; property type: residential and commercial. Flooring Is Us is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Customers in Westlake Village and nearby areas such as Newbury Park, Malibu and Thousand Oaks can request a quote. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card and Zelle. To get started, send Flooring Is Us a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
