About Footprints Floors Maine

Based in Portland, ME, Footprints Floors Maine works as a hardwood floor installer. The business has been operating for 18 years with a team of 80. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

On their profile, Footprints Floors Maine lists install type: laminate, engineered hardwood, solid wood and tile; property type: residential and commercial. Footprints Floors Maine is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Worn carpet, damaged laminate, or a planned sale often prompts a switch to hardwood, especially in living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms that see daily foot traffic. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Portland, homeowners in Falmouth, Westbrook and South Portland can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Check and Credit card. To get started, send Footprints Floors Maine a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
