About Footprints Floors South Texas

Footprints Floors South Texas provides hardwood floor installation in Mcallen, TX. The business has been operating for 18 years with a team of 50. Expect furniture to be moved, old flooring pulled, and the subfloor fixed where it squeaks or dips. Installation then moves room by room, with cuts around vents and door casings, followed by thresholds, stair nosing, and molding for a clean finished edge where the floor meets other surfaces.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Mcallen include subfloor leveling, nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, unfinished floors finished on site, herringbone pattern floors and wide-plank flooring. Footprints Floors South Texas is also listed for carpet installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Mcallen, homeowners in Pharr, Mission and Alamo can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Credit card. To get started, send Footprints Floors South Texas a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
