About Footprints Floors Tri County

Footprints Floors Tri County provides hardwood floor installation in Morgantown, PA. The business has been operating for 18 years with a team of 50. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

On their profile, Footprints Floors Tri County lists install type: laminate, luxury vinyl flooring, engineered hardwood and solid wood; property type: residential and commercial. Footprints Floors Tri County is also listed for hardwood floor refinishing.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.
