About Franci’s Hardwood Flooring
Franci’s Hardwood Flooring is a floor refinishing contractor serving Lansdowne, PA. The business has been operating for 6 years with a team of 4. Refinishing restores worn hardwood by sanding away the old finish and surface damage, then applying stain if desired and several coats of protective finish. The result is a floor that looks new without replacing boards, since solid hardwood can usually be sanded multiple times over its life.
Common requests for hardwood floor refinishing include buff and recoat, refinishing floors found under old carpet, carpet adhesive residue removal, gap filling between boards and oil-based polyurethane finish.
Homeowners often refinish when uncovering hardwood under old carpet, changing the floor color, or preparing a house for sale or new occupants. Mention pets, when the rooms can be fully emptied, and whether you prefer a water-based or oil-based finish, if known. Cost depends on square footage, floor condition, whether stain is applied, the number of finish coats, and any board repairs or stairs.
