George's Furniture Assembly & Handyman Services

About George's Furniture Assembly & Handyman Services

George's Furniture Assembly & Handyman Services is a furniture assembler serving Ridgeville, SC. The business has been operating for 12 years. Furniture assembly turns boxed, flat-pack pieces into finished furniture by following the manufacturer's instructions, sorting hardware, and fitting panels, cam locks, and dowels in the right order. Tall pieces are usually secured to the wall with the included anti-tip hardware, and packaging can often be broken down for recycling.

Common requests for furniture assembly include treadmill and home gym assembly, bed frame and headboard setup, shelving unit installation, TV stand and media console assembly and wardrobe and armoire assembly. George's Furniture Assembly & Handyman Services is also listed for cabinet installation, fitness equipment assembly, garbage disposal repair and handyman.

Missing hardware, confusing instructions, and wobbly pieces from a first attempt are common reasons people hand the job to someone with experience. Mention stairs, the floor each item goes on, and whether any pieces should be anchored to drywall, plaster, or brick. Large pieces like wardrobes, beds with storage drawers, and outdoor playsets take longer than small tables, which is reflected in the quote.

Besides Ridgeville, homeowners in Summerville, Dorchester and Cottageville can reach out for furniture assembly. Posted hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Credit card, PayPal, Square cash app and Venmo. To get started, send George's Furniture Assembly & Handyman Services a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
