About Gia's Restoration & flooring LLC

Gia's Restoration & flooring LLC is a hardwood flooring contractor serving Bristol, CT. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 28 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include nail-down floors over plywood subfloors, subfloor leveling, unfinished floors finished on site, solid oak plank installation and stair tread and riser installation. Gia's Restoration & flooring LLC is also listed for carpet installation, countertop installation and hardwood floor refinishing.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Photos of each room, the chosen wood species or product, and whether furniture moving and old floor removal are needed help an installer quote accurately. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Bristol, homeowners in Terryville, Plainville and Unionville can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday. To get started, send Gia's Restoration & flooring LLC a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
