About Handy Homes

Based in Rumson, NJ, Handy Homes works as a handyman service. A team of 5, the business has been operating for 2 years. Around Rumson, homeowners often use handyman help for the in-between jobs: a door that no longer latches, a cracked tile near a threshold, a wobbly stair railing, or new hardware on old cabinets. The work tends to be quick, practical, and focused on making things function properly and look tidy again.

On their profile, Handy Homes lists project type: repairs, installation, maintenance, assembly and painting; estimated hours: less than 2 hours of work, 2-5 hours of work and a full day of work; work focus: doors, windows, interior walls, exterior walls and gutters; property type: residential. Handy Homes is also listed for door repair, duct and vent cleaning, fitness equipment assembly and furniture assembly.

A running list of small fixes that never seems to get shorter is the most common reason homeowners book a handyman visit and hand off several tasks at once. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Handyman pricing usually depends on the number of tasks on the list, the time each one takes, and whether materials must be supplied or are already on hand.
