Heather Barrett

About Heather Barrett

Based in Gunter, TX, Heather Barrett works as a handyman service. A team of 3, the business has been operating for 26 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Common requests for handyman work include replacing light fixtures, baseboard and trim touch-ups, cabinet hardware replacement, caulking tubs and sinks and ceiling fan swaps. Heather Barrett is also listed for cabinet installation, interior painting, window installation and window repair.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. Include ceiling heights, the wall type if known, and access notes like pets, parking, or gate codes so the visit can keep moving without delays. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides Gunter, homeowners in Celina, Van Alstyne and Collinsville can reach out for handyman work. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check and Zelle. To get started, send Heather Barrett a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
