Helping NYC

About Helping NYC

Helping NYC is a handyman serving Brooklyn, NY. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 2 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Common requests for handyman work include weatherstripping doors, mounting televisions, grab bar installation, small fence board repairs and fixing sticky drawers. Helping NYC is also listed for carpet cleaning, furniture assembly, house cleaning and junk removal.

Moving in, preparing a home for sale, or getting ready for holiday guests often surfaces loose fixtures, scuffed walls, dripping caulk lines, and doors that stick. Include ceiling heights, the wall type if known, and access notes like pets, parking, or gate codes so the visit can keep moving without delays. Handyman pricing usually depends on the number of tasks on the list, the time each one takes, and whether materials must be supplied or are already on hand.

Besides Brooklyn, homeowners in Staten Island, Rockaway Park and Manhattan can reach out for handyman work. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, PayPal, Stripe and Zelle. To get started, send Helping NYC a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
