About Hernandez Flooring

Hernandez Flooring provides hardwood floor installation in Hardeeville, SC. A team of 4, the business has been operating for 14 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Hardeeville include transition strips and thresholds, stair tread and riser installation, unfinished floors finished on site, herringbone pattern floors and nail-down floors over plywood subfloors. Hernandez Flooring is also listed for exterior painting and hardwood floor refinishing.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Provide square footage for each room, the current flooring type, and whether stairs are included. Note if the floor sits on a concrete slab or a wood subfloor. Removal and disposal of old flooring, furniture moving, and trim work affect the total, along with the number of rooms, closets, and cuts involved.

Besides Hardeeville, homeowners in Bluffton, Okatie and Ridgeland can reach out for hardwood floor installation. To get started, send Hernandez Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
