Highmark Flooring

About Highmark Flooring

Highmark Flooring is a hardwood floor installer serving Heath, OH. A team of 11, the business has been operating for 6 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Common requests for hardwood floor installation include transition strips and thresholds, baseboard and shoe molding reinstall, solid oak plank installation, herringbone pattern floors and unfinished floors finished on site. Highmark Flooring is also listed for carpet installation.

Squeaky or uneven subfloors, water-damaged sections, or a remodel that opens up walls between rooms are common triggers for new hardwood installation. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Heath, homeowners in Newark, Thornville and Hebron can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Accepted payment methods include Check and Credit card. To get started, send Highmark Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
