About Hillcrest Flooring

Hillcrest Flooring provides hardwood floor installation in Huntington, NY. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 4 years. Hardwood installation starts with checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, then laying underlayment and planks in the right direction for the room. Boards are nailed, glued, or floated depending on the product, and trim is set last to cover the expansion gaps left along the walls.

Typical jobs for hardwood floor installation in Huntington include herringbone pattern floors, subfloor leveling, stair tread and riser installation, old carpet removal before install and unfinished floors finished on site. Hillcrest Flooring is also listed for handyman and hardwood floor refinishing.

Allergies, pets, or a desire for a floor that can be sanded and refinished later lead many homeowners to replace soft flooring with real wood. Share the target timeline, any known squeaks or soft spots, and how rooms connect so transitions to tile, vinyl, or carpet can be planned ahead of time. Wood species, plank width, and solid versus engineered construction set the material cost. Subfloor repair, stairs, and pattern layouts like herringbone add labor.

Besides Huntington, homeowners in Greenlawn, Northport and Syosset can reach out for hardwood floor installation. Posted hours are Monday to Sunday, 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Hillcrest Flooring a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
