Ivan and Bogdan

About Ivan and Bogdan

Based in Scotch Plains, NJ, Ivan and Bogdan works as a tile installer. The business has been operating for 8 years with a team of 2. Good tile starts under the surface. In wet areas, the installer uses cement backer board and a waterproofing layer before setting any tile. On floors, the base is checked for flex and flatness so tiles and grout lines do not crack later, and large-format tile gets extra attention to lippage.

On their profile, Ivan and Bogdan lists tile type: ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and mosaic.

Cracked or loose tiles, crumbling grout, or water getting behind a shower wall are signs that tile needs repair or replacement before the damage spreads. Share room dimensions, the tile size and material chosen, and photos of the current surface. Note whether old tile must be removed before new work begins. Tile size, material, and pattern complexity drive labor on most tile jobs. Demolition, waterproofing, and substrate repair add to the scope and the price.

Besides Scotch Plains, homeowners in Fanwood, Plainfield and Westfield can reach out for tile installation. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Ivan and Bogdan a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
