About Jay Home Services

Jay Home Services is a handyman service serving Seattle, WA. A team of 2, the business has been operating for 4 years. Handyman work covers the small repairs and installs that pile up around a house but rarely justify calling a specialty trade. A single visit often bundles several items, such as patching a wall, rehanging a door, and mounting a shelf, so the homeowner clears a whole list in one trip instead of scheduling several.

Typical jobs for handyman work in Seattle include cabinet hardware replacement, mounting televisions, fixing sticky drawers, drywall patching and hanging shelves and mirrors. Jay Home Services is also listed for garbage disposal installation and TV mounting.

Doors that will not close, dents in drywall, peeling bathroom caulk, and shelves that wobble under weight are typical triggers for a general repair call. List every task in one message with a photo of each item, so the visit can be planned properly and the right materials brought along on the first trip. Travel distance, the complexity of each job, and whether a task needs a second trip for special-order parts are the main drivers behind a handyman quote.

Besides Seattle, homeowners in Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds and Kenmore can reach out for handyman work. Posted hours are Thursday to Saturday, 8:00 pm to 11:59 pm. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Venmo and Zelle. To get started, send Jay Home Services a request on Fixerlane with the details of your project.
